As I've previously mentioned - this year's calendar is a yoking together of all of my daily practices - yoga..photography and writing. Each month includes one of my Muse-In-You-Yogi photos and an accompanying yoga sutra.
'Steady and comfortable should be the posture'
A steady gaze...a fixed position...a quiet mind. A balance between strength and softness...stillness and motion...holding on and letting go. Each and every pose is about finding the comfort in that discomfort...the ease in the dis-ease.
With daily practice - we cultivate the ability to center ourselves...to stretch...to grow. The impossible becomes possible. What we never believed we would or could...we can and do.
The prize is always in the heart of the pose.
