The Argus C3 is a 35mm rangefinder camera that was made between 1939-1966. It was mass produced by Argus in Ann Arbor, MI, and was one of the first affordable 35mm cameras in the United States. The body of the Argus C3 features rugged, molded leather grain and metal trim. The Argus C3 is entirely manual, has a built in rangefinder that is coupled to the lens and features two eyepieces on the back of the camera. The right eyepiece is used for focusing the image, and the left eyepiece is used for framing the image. The camera was originally sold with a leather eveready case with an attached shoulder strap.
